On Wednesday Night, parents of students who are interested in Biotechnology or Health Sciences were invited to a parent night for presentations from some of Southern Arizona’s premier summer programs.
The speakers were from Biotechnology Laboratory for Arizona Students and Teachers (BLAST), KEYS Summer Research Program sponsored by BIO5, Med-Start, Pima Community College Biotechnology Summer Institute, and Summer Institute on Medical Ignorance.

My daughter participated in the Summer Institute on Medical Ignorance 3 years ago and really enjoyed it. Not only did she work in a lab at UMC, but she met students from all over Arizona.
