  1. In my opinion Calvin was a great speaker. I really enjoyed his presentation. he understod what a lot of people in the worl are going through. not many people do that, or take the time to acknowldge the fearful truth. i guess what made him a so, memorizing is the way he spoke to us as adults. not these little teenage childrean like most of the teachers and other adults do.he shared his mistakes and didn’t deny them liken most adults like to do infront of us. speaking to us as an equal made a lot of people truly understand the meaning behind his words. being straight forward with us and not trying to speak to us as if we didnt understand what he was saying. i really liked him and believe pueblo should bring more people like him to speak because reality is. Calvin touched alot of us. making alot of people see things differently. understand all our roots. come together as a community more or like. all in all i just need to say that Calvin was fantastic, outstanding, and pretty awesome. his presentation was epic and will be remembered dearly.

  4. It was amazing, his wisdom on the truth of todays society was truely an awe moment. It made me realize just how much i think without thinking why i think those things. I will make a bigger effort to unlearn things I’ve been told my whole life.

  5. Calvin Terrell’s speech really opened my eyes to the person i really am. He’s speech was inspiring and full of emotion. We should defenetly have him come and talk to us again. It changed the way some students act and speak.

  6. Ii Loved How He Made Half Of The School Opened There Eyes & How Everyone Was Touched Of What He Said & I Even Came Back At 6 So My Cousin Can See What Is Real In life. & It Was Also Funnny & II Reallie Enjoyed It 😀

  7. Calvin’s presentation was easy to comprehend. At least for Pueblo students who more often than not seem to be shallow. He presented ways to label human behaviour in creatives way but, I found that to be irritating as I dont like to label anything. Regardless its the only way humans can comprehend what is found in front of them. He’s Mexican. She’s African American. He’s Asian. I’d much rather be recognized as a human being and by the name I carry. Although Calvin’s presentation made me feel like a first grader all over again, it was quite pleasant having him there. I just wish we would’ve had someone with more interesting concepts.

  8. He came to our High School in Morenci and in this little town their is quite some trouble but he had reached out to a lot of people it is like so crazy. i think that most of the people will change and the only ones that won’t i quote are “Cowards”. he told us the honest truth and i am glad to have him come and talk some sense to my school.

  9. i thought that Calvin’s speech was a good one,he had two of them at my school.the last one that i went too hit me the most.i thought about the things i have done to hurt someone in some way.He said when its quiet you can here the wispers in your mind saying things to you and i did here them.in the past they would say hurtful things to me and now im going to make them change and say good things to me.so i feel better about me and make someone else feel better about them selfs.i wanna thank him for everything he had to say and i hope that people take what he had to say to heart. Thanks Again.

  10. Calvin’s speech was really touching and it made realize in the kind of world we live in .

  11. The first part of his speech was insightful and interesting, but he then had us visualize the brutal deaths of our loved ones to help us see how shootings affect people. I have had nightmares, anxiety attacks and depression ever since. His speech helped ruin my life.
