Hector Daniel Villa, a senior of the class of 2010, was awarded with a prestigious scholarship from the AZ Latino Caucus Foundation. Daniel was presented with the $500 scholarship in a ceremony by Governor Jan Brewer at the State Capital Building on March 31st.
After the ceremony, he was given a personal tour of the State Capitol building by Representative Cajero.
Arizona State Representative Olivia Cajero Bedford has designated Pueblo as one of 11 schools in the state to receive this scholarship and Daniel is the first student from Pueblo to be nominated.
