On Wednesday Night, parents of students who are interested in Biotechnology or Health Sciences were invited to a parent night for presentations from some of Southern Arizona’s premier summer programs.

The speakers were from Biotechnology Laboratory for Arizona Students and Teachers (BLAST), KEYS Summer Research Program sponsored by BIO5, Med-Start, Pima Community College Biotechnology Summer Institute, and Summer Institute on Medical Ignorance.

Kevin Kehl (Palo Verde High School), Andrew Lettes (Pueblo High School), and Margaret Wilch (Tucson High School) with Francis Collins in San Francisco, California during the December Meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology .
