Our Mariachi Aztlan Director, Johnny Contreras, had the pleasure of attending the\u00a023rd Annual \u201cLes Escales\u201d Music Festival<\/a> in Saint Nazaire, France, whose theme this year was \u201cWorld & Tucson Music\u201d.<\/p>\n

Promoters of the event came to Tucson to scout bands for the festival and \u00a0really wanted a Mariachi to represent the culture that has been built in Tucson. \u00a0An invitation was extended to Mariachi Luz de Luna which Mr. Contreras is a part of.<\/p>\n
