In the end\u2014after dynamic, original performances\u2014Santos Barbosa humbly accepted the crown.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Sarah Wilson (radio teacher) and Mr. Jesus Ordu\u00f1o (Spanish teacher) emceed the event, and senior Julie Harrison was the student host.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2066\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2066\" style=\"width: 440px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pueblowarriors.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Mr-Pueblo-Warrior-2015-Escorts.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2063]\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2066\" title=\"Mr Pueblo Warrior 2015 Escorts\" src=\"https:\/\/pueblowarriors.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Mr-Pueblo-Warrior-2015-Escorts-500x375.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"440\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pueblowarriors.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Mr-Pueblo-Warrior-2015-Escorts-500x375.jpg 500w, https:\/\/pueblowarriors.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Mr-Pueblo-Warrior-2015-Escorts-550x412.jpg 550w, https:\/\/pueblowarriors.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Mr-Pueblo-Warrior-2015-Escorts.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2066\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mr. Pueblo Warrior 2015 Escorts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">All contestants had the privilege of having a female escort, and the contestants showcased their talents, as well as competed in a \u201cswimsuit\u201d segment. Each contestant presented his escort with a meaningful, heart-felt gift, making the judges\u2019 final decision very challenging.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pueblowarriors.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Santos-Barbosa-Mr-Pueblo-Warrior-2015-Winner.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2063]\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Santos Barbosa Mr Pueblo Warrior 2015 Winner\" src=\"https:\/\/pueblowarriors.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Santos-Barbosa-Mr-Pueblo-Warrior-2015-Winner-375x500.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Santos Barbosa<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the end, the judges chose the final four: (4) Matthew Raper; (3) Jose Angel Toro; Victor Garcia (the runner-up), and the victor, Santos Barbosa.<\/p>\n<p>Barbosa said, \u201cMy experience for the pageant was beast! It was a real blessing to spend time with my family and friends, and I put a lot of hard work and effort towards it.\u201d He paused and added, \u201cI felt really excited and unexpected when I won the pageant\u2014the competition was really challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Third placer Jose Toro said, \u201cThe entire evening was really great! I had a good time presenting my stand-up comedy act, and I\u2019m really glad people enjoyed it and laughed at my jokes. I was a little worried that nobody would laugh.\u201d Toro added, \u201cI really thought that I wasn&#8217;t going to place in the Top Three, so I was really surprised.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All of the contestants expressed their own form of victory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough I joined the competition late, I had a lot of fun,\u201d said Albert Nieblas. \u201cIn the end, I feel that Santos was a great competitor and definitely earned the crown.\u201d He added, \u201cI think the Mr. Warrior Pageant should be continued as long as Pueblo High School is up and running\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Augustine Romero, Pueblo\u2019s principal, said that he enjoyed watching his first Mr. Warrior pageant. &#8220;The pageant was a great experience! I am glad that I was able to share this event with my family and friends. It\u2019s clear that a lot of hard work went into the preparation of this pageant.
