Despite the spirit many felt on Halloween, some students said that as they get older, they believe that Hal<\/p>\n
Halloween does not have the same spunk when they were younger.<\/p>\n
Students shared their beliefs regarding Halloween and their experiences.<\/p>\n
Senior Thai Kromrei said, \u201cI came to school dressed up as Stich because my girlfriend wanted to be Lilo. Afterwards, we went trick-or-treating with my nephews.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI came to Pueblo with my face painted as a skeleton and decided afterwards to go around scaring children around my grandma\u2019s neighborhood,\u201d senior Abigail Sotelo said. \u201cI think that everyone should be allowed to trick-or-treat forever, or at least until you can\u2019t walk.\u201d<\/p>\n
Senior Yamaika Romero said, \u201cI was dressed up as a clown and went to go watch movies with my friends and little cousins.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI came to Pueblo as a zombie and later in the day went trick-or-treating with my nephews, sadly we didn\u2019t get enough candy,\u201d senior Kanani Salazar said. \u201cIt\u2019s also upsetting that less kids dressed up this year. People think they are getting too old for it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sam Quiroz, a senior, said, \u201cEveryone should honestly live life to the fullest no matter how old you get. This year I did it dressed as a genie.\u201d<\/p>\n Freshman Ayonna Perez said, \u201cWe\u2019re not too old to celebrate Halloween, and I actually saw a handful of costumes I liked\u2014specifically the gorilla playing the saxophone.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI dressed up as a cat, and later I went trick-or-treating with my family and a friend,\u201d freshman Joanis Del Valle said. \u201cI\u2019m excited for next Halloween\u2014as I plan to dress up as Alice from Alice in Wonderland.\u201d<\/p>\n Freshman Sabrina Suazo said, \u201cI chose to dress up as a nerd. I went trick-or-treating with my family and my friend Ayonna.
