A spot on the varsity team isn\u2019t given, it&#8217;s\nearned.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Myla Truitt, another Class of \u201923 freshman, is a\nshooting guard and a starter on varsity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said, \u201cPlaying on varsity is fun, it\u2019s more\ncompetitive and faster pace. Our season has been good, but it could be better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coach Galindo said the season is not over until\nit\u2019s over; however, he does admit that the team will have to make some\nadjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said, \u201cI\u2019m not giving up on this season, but\nwe can take what we\u2019ve learned this season and use it for motivation to work\nharder and get better for next season.\u201d \n\n\u201cThe differences year to\nyear doesn\u2019t really matter.
