All proceeds will be used to purchase medical supplies for the <a title=\"SBC in Sudan\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jumpstartsudan.org\/clinic.htm\">Samual Brownback Clinic<\/a> in Sudan.<\/p>\n<p>During the last 3 years, the Warrior Walk-A-Thon has raised the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2007-<\/strong> $3,026<\/li>\n<li><strong>2008-<\/strong> $2,060<\/li>\n<li><strong>2009- Goal of $3,000<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Chris Garang\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jumpstartsudan.org\/what.htm\">Cris Garang<\/a>, a Lost Boy from Sudan who has worked with the club for each Warrior Walk-A-Thon and continually returns to Sudan to offer his services to refugees at the Akon Medical Clinic will hand deliver the supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Cris was here on March 4th to discuss the personal tragedies of Sudanese refugees (including his own).\u00a0 The assembly educated students about the plight of refugees in Akon, Sudan as well as the political situation in Sudan.\u00a0 Cris offered a viewpoint on life that most students have not been exposed to before.
