<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nAmong the nearly two dozen new teachers and staff members joining the Pueblo High School family this year, math teacher Mr. Collin McCauley is enthusiastic about sharing his love of his subject to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ve always been good at math\u2014ever since I can remember,\u201d McCauley said. \u201cAs a first-year teacher, I\u2019m hoping to help my students reach their full potential.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even after just a few months at Pueblo, McCauley said that being a part of the Warrior community makes him feel at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is definitely a school with a lot of culture,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McCauley said that he was influenced by his own math teachers growing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese [math] teachers were true role models in my life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McCauley said that he is looking forward to being the head coach of Pueblo\u2019s JV basketball team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith my love of sports, I want to create an environment that is safe and fun and help the team reach their full potential,\u201d McCauley said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
