Construction on our track facilities will officially begin today as construction crews bring in heavy equipment to football stadium.
Actual demolition work on the old track will begin on Monday, June 15. The track will be resurfaced and construction and installation of new track facilities will occur during this scope of work. The timeline for this project is estimated at between 75 to 90 days, depending on monsoon and weather conditions.
The crew will endeavor to finish the project as fast as they can. During this time, no one is allowed onto the construction site except Pueblo grounds men who may need to do work in the area. In a few months we will have a beautiful, new track for our Pueblo Warriors.

OMG ok so how many teachers were let go and we lose a class which makes it harder for us students to graduate and makes it harder for teachers to stay in a good mood because they only have one grading period but yet we have enough money for a new track.
What does this tell you about the way we value the sport more than the value of education at Pueblo. What we need is a block schedule and teachers who care enough for there students to push them to a college education and get them motivated and involved before their senor year.
At pueblo we barely graduate 50% of our freshmen class
we lower our standards of our students so or so teachers can get the easy way out and say just because they aren’t smart enough or just because they have set there mind to not do any thing they can stop trying.
This way of thinking needs to stop at Pueblo.
the only way you can get challenged is by taking an AP course. regular course are for those who have quit or rather not try.
Well the real reason that I am writing this is to say that the money could be better spent on new books or better desk or even painting our school.
or maybe the remodel of the hall ways. The school could use larger hallways and it could be made possible by taking out the lockers that we can’t even use.
wow you’re right! I think that we got a new track despite the techer situation because the budget is specified for it, but taking out the lockers is a great idea!
