As part of a collaboration with the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona, students had the opportunity to participate in a Q & A with author, film-writer and educator Alexandra Zapruder.
I’m Still Here, an MTV film based on her book Salvaged Pages was screened in the auditorium for our students. Here’s the movie trailer of the film:
The following day, students were able to share their thoughts on the film with Alexandra. Many had interesting questions and perspectives regarding the diaries written by youth Holocaust survivors.
This presentation was an excellent learning opportunity for our students. We want to thank Alexandra for coming and Bryan Davis, Youth and Holocaust Education Coordinator, for making it possible.
